That is seriously such a pet peeve of mine when I am trying to talk to someone and they are just completely involved with their phone. Put it down and listen to me!! I loved this little picture because it describes how media could be a potential problem in a relationship if it is not used appropriately!
Last night I wen to the Provo Rec Center and there were two teenage girls playing volleyball across the gym from me. The one was on her phone the whole time and her friend was getting so mad and eventually stopped playing with her because she couldn't even engage in what they were doing. It makes me sad to see stuff like that! Media is great but when did it start trumping playing with your friends?! That's what I lived for in junior high! (Insert old person joke here!)
